As a qualified mindfulness teacher, the principles of mindful awareness are woven into everything I do, but this treatment places them at the very centre of the experience. Mindfulness and meditation with massage is a genuinely unique offering: a session that works with both the physical body and the thinking mind, inviting you into a state of presence that is rare and deeply restorative.


In a world that rarely asks us to be still, this is an invitation to simply be, and to discover what becomes possible when you do.


What to expect

This session can take different forms depending on your needs and experience. It may be a guided meditation or breathing practice offered alongside or as a complement to massage, inviting you to focus on breath, body sensation, and the gradual release of mental tension as the massage dissolves physical stress. Or it may be a standalone mindfulness or meditation session, offered in a quiet, supportive space with gentle guidance from me as your teacher.


We will always discuss what would serve you best before we begin. This is a collaborative, unhurried experience, there is no right or wrong way to show up.


Who it's for

Anyone experiencing stress, anxiety, mental overwhelm, or a sense of disconnection from their own body. Those curious about mindfulness but unsure where to begin. Those who already practise mindfulness and would like to deepen that practice in a supported, embodied way. And anyone who feels that the physical and the mental are not separate concerns, that to care for one is to care for the other.

Available in 15 and 30 minute sessions as a standalone practice, or integrated into a massage treatment.

  • Settle into a comfortable position, allowing your back to be upright but not rigid. 
  • Close your eyes or soften your gaze toward the floor.
  • Bring your attention to your breath. 
  • Notice the natural rhythm of your breathing as it enters your nostrils, travels down to your lungs, and causes your belly to expand 


[Pause]


And notice each out-breath, as your belly contracts and air moves back up and out 


[Pause]


  • If your mind wanders, simply notice where it went, without judgment, and gently bring your attention back to the breath.
  • Follow the air all the way in and all the way out.
  • When you are ready, slowly allow your attention to expand to your entire body, and then to the room around you.
  • Slowly open your eyes.
